Ministerial Order concerning Public highways where mobile photo radar devices may be used
Highway Safety Code
(chapter C-24.2, s. 634.3).
DIVISION I
DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATION
1. For the purposes of this Order,
“divided public highway” means a public highway where at least 2 roadways are separated by a median strip or a separator and have opposite directions of traffic;
“U-turn” means a one-way roadway laid out in a median strip allowing only U-turns between the divided roadways of a public highway having opposite directions of traffic.

2. In the case where the public highway described is, in whole or in part, a divided public highway:
(1)  the location of the beginning and the end of the highway may be different depending on the direction of traffic;
(2)  the highway described is the portion where the direction of traffic goes toward the east or the south;
(3)  it is necessary to reverse the description in order to delimit the other portion of the highway where the direction of traffic goes towards the west or the north;
(4)  where the described portion of the highway begins at a U-turn, the other portion ends at the U-turn and, inversely, where the described portion of the highway ends at a U-turn, the other portion begins at the U-turn;
(5)  where a portion of the highway begins or ends at a U-turn, the portion begins where the pavement of the highway touches the pavement of the U-turn or ends where the pavement of the highway no longer touches the pavement of the U-turn.

3. Unless otherwise indicated, the intersections of the public highways and the public highways that delimit them are part of the public highways described in Division II. However, the intersections do not include, where applicable, the lanes diverted by diverters.

4. The public highways described in Division II are shown in the maps attached in Schedule I. The maps are identified in the following manner: “section number”-“paragraph number” of the description of the public highway shown.
In case of conflict between a map and a description, the description prevails.

PUBLIC HIGHWAYS WHERE MOBILE PHOTO RADAR DEVICES MAY BE USED
5. Mobile photo radar devices may be used to monitor compliance with speed limits on the following public highways:
In force: 2014-10-01
(1)  in the territory of Municipalité de Saint-Isidore (26063), the portion of route du Vieux-Moulin which extends from the intersection with the entrance and exit ramps of autoroute 73 on the northbound lane, named autoroute Robert-Cliche, to the intersection with rue des Harfangs;
(2)  in the territory of Municipalité de Saint-Jacques (63013), Paroisse de Saint-Liguori (63065) and Municipalité de Crabtree (61013), the portion of route 158 which extends from the intersection with route 341, named rue Saint-Jacques, located in Municipalité de Saint-Jacques, to the most eastern crossing with the municipal boundary between Municipalité de Saint-Jacques and Municipalité de Crabtree;

(3)  in the territory of Municipalité de Saint-Tite-des-Caps (21005), the portion of route 138, named boulevard 138, which extends from the intersection with rue Leclerc to the intersection with avenue Royale;

(4)  in the territory of Paroisse de L’Épiphanie (60040) and Ville de L’Épiphanie (60035), the portion of route 341 which extends from the municipal boundary between Municipalité de Saint-Roch-de-l’Achigan (63035) and Paroisse de L’Épiphanie to the intersection with rue Payette, located in Paroisse de L’Épiphanie;
(5)  in the territory of Ville de Beauceville (27028), the portion of route 173, named, depending on the location, route du Président-Kennedy or boulevard Renault, which extends from the intersection with route du Golf to the municipal boundary between Ville de Beauceville and Paroisse de Notre-Dame-des-Pins (29120);
(6)  in the territory of Ville de Marieville (55048), route 112;
(7)  in the territory of Ville de Montréal (66023), the portion of rue Notre-Dame Est which extends from the intersection with avenue De Lorimier to the intersection with avenue Gonthier;

(8)  in the territory of Ville de Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré (21030) and Ville de Beaupré (21025), the portion of route 138, named boulevard Sainte-Anne, which extends from the beginning of the U-turn, located in Ville de Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, to the intersection with rue Beauregard, located in Ville de Beaupré;

(9)  in the territory of Ville de Sainte-Catherine-de-la-Jacques-Cartier (22005), the portion of route 367, named route de Fossambault, which extends from the intersection with rue du Levant to the municipal boundary between Ville de Sainte-Catherine-de-la-Jacques-Cartier and Ville de Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures (23072);

(10)  in the territory of Ville de Saint-Lazare (71105), the portion of route 340, named route de la Cité-des-Jeunes, which extends from the intersection with chemin Legault to the intersection with montée Labossière;
