Approval of the cameras used to photograph the registration plate of road vehicles driven on bridge P-10942 on autoroute 30

Highway Safety Code

(chapter C-24.2, s. 595.1).

1. The cameras used to photograph road vehicles driven on bridge P-10942 on autoroute 30, their registration plates and their environment, and whose main components are the following, are approved:

(1)  cameras for photographing the rear and, where applicable, the front registration plate of road vehicles (FXCAMd 102c, FreewayCAM WVGA CAMERA or FreewayCAM-03-6350 by ARH inc.);

(2)  cameras for photographing a vehicle and its environment (DCS-7517 by D-Link Corporation or D-Link Canada inc., or Series NH063 by Sony Electronics inc.);

(3)  road vehicle detection and camera activation systems including:

(a)  a lateral laser scanner (LMS511 by SICK AG);

(b)  a fiber optic counting bar (EZ-TreadleTM by Sensor Line GmbH);

(c)  a magnetic/resistive sensor (Lendher FVD-L by Contaval S.L.).
