399. The president and executive director shall be appointed for a term of not more than five years; the other members shall be appointed for a term of not more than four years. Other than the president and executive director, members may not serve more than two consecutive terms.
However, if a member serves a term of less than two years, the term is not taken into account for the purposes of the first paragraph.
At the expiry of their terms, the president and executive director and the other members shall remain in office until replaced or reappointed.

399. The term of office of persons elected or appointed under subparagraphs 1 to 6 of the first paragraph of section 397 is three years. Such persons shall, however, remain in office until re-elected, reappointed or replaced, notwithstanding any new election held under section 135 in the case of a person elected under subparagraph 1 of the said first paragraph.
The term of office of such persons cannot be renewed more than once.

399. With the exception of the executive director, the term of office of members of a board of directors is three years. However, they remain in office until they are reelected, reappointed or replaced by the regional assembly.
