155. The syndic or an assistant syndic of a corporation shall, by means of a complaint, refer to the committee on discipline any final decision of a Canadian court finding a professional guilty of an indictable offence which is triable only by way of indictment.
The committee must accept the duly certified copy of the judicial decision as proof of guilt and may impose one or more of the penalties provided by section 156.
This section also applies to every decision of a foreign court finding a professional guilty of an act which, if committed in Canada, would have been triable only by way of indictment.
