872. Applications relating to the composition and establishment of a tutorship council may be presented to the judge or clerk or to a notary; applications for the review of a decision of a tutorship council are made before the court of the domicile or residence of the minor or incapable person of full age.

872. Applications relating to the composition and establishment of a tutorship council and applications for the review of a decision of a tutorship council are made before the court of the domicile or residence of the minor or incapable person of full age.

872. In all cases where its advice is required, a family council may be convoked by a judge having jurisdiction in the district where such advice must be given, or by the prothonotary of such district, at the demand of any one qualified to ask for it.
The persons who will be members of the council are notified of the order of convocation at the diligence of the applicant, with notice of the place where and the day and the hour when they are to present themselves.
The notification, which may be made by registered or certified mail, is, in addition, governed by article 280.
