Letters of verification attest that the succession has opened; they certify moreover: in the case of an abintestate succession, that the property has devolved on the persons designated, and in the proportions indicated; in the case of a succession whose devolution is governed by a will in authentic form, that it has been proved that the document, of which a true copy is annexed, is the only will that the deceased made, or that it is the latest and that it revokes, in whole or in part, all previous wills.
