25. The inspector shall have custody of the potatoes seized by him until a court decides how they are to be disposed of or until they are disposed of in accordance with the second paragraph or section 26, 28 or 29. In addition, the inspector shall have custody of the things seized and submitted in evidence, unless the judge to whom they were submitted in evidence decides otherwise.
The inspector may sell the potatoes seized by him according to the terms, conditions and price justified by the circumstances. The proceeds of the sale shall be credited to the Minister of Finance in a bank or other financial institution determined by the Minister, and the Deposit Act (chapter D-5) applies, with the necessary modifications.
