17. Proceedings for an offence under section 16 are brought by the school board or by the Attorney General in accordance with the Summary Convictions Act (chapter P-15) before a judge of the Youth Court having jurisdiction in the territory where the school is situated.
The fine imposed is paid to the school board where the proceedings are brought by the school board.
