284. The provisions of this Act which grant rights and privileges to a religious confession shall operate notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph a of section 2 and section 15 of the Constitution Act, 1982 (Schedule B to the Canada Act, chapter 11 in the 1982 volume of the Acts of Parliament of the United Kingdom).
