2024. The charterer is bound to load cargo of the agreed quality in the agreed quantity; if he does not, he is nevertheless bound to pay the stipulated freight.
The charterer may, however, resiliate the contract before loading begins; in that case, he shall pay to the lessor an indemnity equal to the injury he suffers, but in no case greater than the amount of the freight.
