In cases where there is no mandate or management of the business of another or even before proceedings if an application for the institution of tutorship to a person of full age is about to be made, the court may, if it is necessary to act in order to prevent serious injury, provisionally designate the Public Curator or another person either to perform a specific act or to administer the property of the person of full age within the limits of simple administration of the property of others.
