53. Subject to the provisions of article 82 of the Code of Civil Procedure (chapter C-25.01), the court may sit on any working day of the year, and as many times as may be necessary.
However, it must sit, in a proportion of at least one sitting of two, after 6:00 p.m.
The chief judge may, if warranted by the circumstances, authorize the court, according to the terms and conditions determined by the chief judge, to sit after 6:00 p.m. or on Saturdays in a lesser proportion than that prescribed in the second paragraph. However, the proportion may not be less than one sitting out of three. The chief judge may cancel the authorization. Such an authorization or cancellation must be posted in the office of the court and sent to the Minister.
