815. The municipal inspector is bound to superintend all work of construction, improvement, repair and maintenance on municipal roads, sidewalks, bridges and watercourses, situated within the boundaries of the municipality, whether local or county, and to see that such work is performed in conformity with the provisions of law, of procès-verbaux or of by-laws governing the same.
Ferries are also under the superintendence of the municipal inspector.
