177. The corporation may bring an action to account against any employee responsible for moneys belonging to it, and he may, if sufficient cause exists, be condemned to render an account thereof, and to pay the sum which he is declared to owe, with interest and costs of suit, and, in addition, to pay any damages, if any be due.
