660. The power to recognize new driving schools granted to specific bodies approved under section 62 is suspended. The suspension ends on 16 January 2012.
Despite the first paragraph, an organization approved under section 62 may recognize a driving school if it considers that there is an insufficient number of driving schools in the territory for which the recognition is requested.

660. The power to recognize new driving schools granted to specific bodies approved under section 62 is suspended. The suspension ends one year after the date of coming into force of the requirement established by section 66.1 to have successfully completed a driving course.
Despite the first paragraph, an organization approved under section 62 may recognize a driving school if it considers that there is an insufficient number of driving schools in the territory for which the recognition is requested.

660. No driving school may be recognized before (insert the date of coming into force of section 11 of chapter 40 of the statutes of 2007).

660. No new driving school licence shall be issued for a period of five years from 1 January 1991, except in the case of the renewal of a licence in force on that date. The Government may, however, order that the moratorium be lifted before 31 December 1995.
Notwithstanding the first paragraph, the Government may, during that period, authorize the issue of a driving school licence under Chapter IV of Title II if it is of the opinion that the number of driving school licences that have been issued in the territory of the urban or regional community or regional county municipality in respect of which the licence is applied for is insufficient or if it deems it advisable in view of the circumstances.
