Disposition versions
40. Where the right of ownership of a road vehicle is transferred between parties neither of whom is a road vehicle dealer, the transferor and the new owner must declare the transfer of ownership to the Société in the manner determined by the Société and the new owner must apply for a new registration.
40. Where the right of ownership of a road vehicle is transferred between parties neither of whom is a road vehicle dealer, the transferor must remit to the Société the registration certificate and the registration plate issued for the vehicle, after endorsing the certificate, and the new purchaser must apply for a new registration.
