646. (Repealed).
R. S. 1964, c. 193, s. 685; 1990, c. 4, s. 203.
646. The recovery of any fine, or of any costs, even subsequent to the conviction or order, or damages awarded by the Municipal Court, shall be enforced in accordance with the act or the by-law under which the same are imposed or awarded; but if the act or by-law does not specify any mode of procedure in respect thereof, such recovery shall be enforced by imprisonment for not more than two months, unless the said fine, costs as aforesaid, and damages, be paid before the expiration of the term of imprisonment; and the writs shall be issued in the manner above mentioned.
