626. The clerk shall register, daily, in a succinct manner, the proceedings had in each case brought before the court.
It shall not be necessary for the clerk to enter at full length the pleadings and judgments of the court, but a register shall be kept by him, wherein shall be set forth the name of the defendant, the nature of the debt or of the offence, the judgment and the date thereof.
The notes of the proceedings endorsed on the summons or information shall be a sufficient record thereof.
