620. The Municipal Court shall have the jurisdiction of a municipal judge, and shall hear and decide by preference:
(1)  Any action brought under any by-law or resolution of the council for the recovery of any sum of money due to the municipality for any tax, license, water-rate, or permit, or for the rent of any butcher’s stall or other stall or stand, in or upon any of the markets, or outside the same;
(2)  Any action for the enforcement of any by-law or resolution of the council;
(3)  (Paragraph repealed).

(1)  Any action brought under any by-law or resolution of the council for the recovery of any sum of money due to the municipality for any tax, license, water-rate, or permit, or for the rent of any butcher’s stall or other stall or stand, in or upon any of the markets, or outside the same;
(2)  Any action for the enforcement of any by-law or resolution of the council;
(3)  Suits for the recovery or imposition of any fine or penalty, resulting from any infraction of this act, of the charter or of any by-law or resolution of the municipality.
