576. Penal proceedings for an offence under a provision of this Act, the charter, a by-law, a resolution or an order of the council may be instituted by the municipality.

576. Penal proceedings may be brought within one year from the date of commission of the offence, by a person of age in his own name, or by the municipality.

576. Penal proceedings may be brought within six months by a person of age in his own name, or by the municipality.

576. Every prosecution for the recovery of such fines shall be begun within six months from the date when they were incurred, and cannot be brought thereafter.
Such prosecution may be brought by any person of age, in his own name, or by the municipality.
