ŠOath of the Deputy Returning Officer after Closing of the PollŠŠ I, the undersigned, deputy returning officer for the pollingŠsubdivision Number ....................., in ...................Š ........... ward of the city of ...............................Š(or of the town of .......................), do solemnly swearŠthat, to the best of my knowledge and belief, the poll book keptŠfor such polling subdivision under my direction, has been soŠkept correctly; and that the total number of votes inscribed inŠthe poll book is ..........................; and that, to theŠbest of my knowledge and belief, it contains a true and exactŠrecord of the votes given at the poll in this pollingŠsubdivision as the said votes were taken thereat; that I haveŠfaithfully counted the votes given for each candidate, in theŠmanner by law provided, and performed all duties required of meŠby law, and that the report, packets of ballot papers, and otherŠdocuments, required by law to be returned by me to the returningŠofficer, have been faithfully and truly prepared and placedŠwithin the ballot box, as this oath will be, to the end that theŠsaid ballot box, being first carefully sealed with my seal, beŠtransmitted to the returning officer according to law.ŠŠ G.
