422.0.1. Notwithstanding the second paragraph of section 422, a rider may be added to an insurance policy that relates to the ownership or use of a motor vehicle to provide for conditions that are not approved by the Authority, to the extent that they are stipulated solely for the benefit of the policyholder.
The insurer shall transmit the text of the rider to the Authority before offering it.
