387. The Authority or any person designated by the Minister at the request of the Authority may also assume provisional administration of any insurer constituted under the laws of Québec:
(a)  if the licence of that insurer has been cancelled;
(b)  if the licence of that insurer has been suspended and the causes of such suspension have not been remedied within 30 days of its taking effect;
(c)  if in the opinion of the Authority that insurer transacts insurance without a licence.
When he assumes provisional administration of an insurer under this section, the provisional administrator must report his findings to the Minister who shall make a report to the Government within the shortest possible delay.

(a)  if the licence of that insurer has been cancelled;

(c)  if in the opinion of the Inspector General that insurer transacts insurance without a licence.

387. The Superintendent, or any person designated by the Minister at the request of the Superintendent or in cases where he is absent or unable to act, may also assume provisional administration of any insurer incorporated under the laws of Québec:
(a)  if the licence of that insurer has been cancelled;
(b)  if the licence of that insurer has been suspended and the causes of such suspension have not been remedied within thirty days of its taking effect;
(c)  if in the opinion of the Superintendent that insurer transacts insurance without a licence.
When he assumes provisional administration of an insurer under this section, the provisional administrator must report his findings to the Minister who shall make a report to the Government within the shortest possible delay.
