229. For a mutual benefit association, the amount of the deposit shall be equal to 10 per cent of the assessments it has collected in Québec during the preceding year, less the premiums paid by it for reinsurance. The deposit shall not however be less than $20 000 in the case of an association constituted under this act or $2 000 in the case of any other mutual benefit association; nor shall it in any case exceed $100 000.
