Section 83.65
Disposition versions
83.65. A person who receives an income replacement indemnity under this title and who, by reason of a new event, claims an income replacement indemnity under the Act respecting industrial accidents and occupational diseases (chapter A-3.001) or financial assistance compensating a loss of income or financial assistance compensating certain disabilities under the Act to promote good citizenship (chapter C-20) or the Act to assist persons who are victims of criminal offences and to facilitate their recovery (chapter P-9.2.1), is not entitled to receive both indemnities at the same time.
The Société shall continue to pay the income replacement indemnity, where that is the case, until the entitlement to and the amount of the indemnity and the financial assistance payable under each of the Acts applicable are determined.
83.65. A person who receives an income replacement indemnity under this title and who, by reason of a new event, claims an income replacement indemnity under the Act respecting industrial accidents and occupational diseases (chapter A-3.001) or total disability benefits under the Act to promote good citizenship (chapter C-20) or the Crime Victims Compensation Act (chapter I-6), is not entitled to receive both indemnities at the same time.
The Société shall continue to pay the income replacement indemnity, where that is the case, until the entitlement to and the amount of the indemnity and the pension payable under each of the Acts applicable are determined.
83.65.
