2. Introduction to the French language consists of courses focussing on the learning of the basic notions of the French language, and of activities constituting an introduction to Québec life.
The duration of the courses and activities is either less than 15 hours per week, in which case they are designated as being on a part-time basis, or 15 hours and over per week, in which case they are designated as being on a full-time basis.
