123. Every safety device for children under 5 years of age shall comply with the standards prescribed by the Motor Vehicle Restraint Systems and Booster Seats Safety Regulations, (SOR/2010-90) or in sections 213.4 of Schedule IV of the Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations (C.R.C., c. 1038), in the case of integrated child restraint systems and booster seats forming part of the road vehicle, and be installed according to the manufacturer’s standards.
The requirements of the Motor Vehicle Restraint Systems and Booster Seats Safety Regulations (SOR/98-159) continue to apply until 31 December 2011. (SOR/2010-90, s. 700)
