79. (Repealed).

79. The competent court shall, at the request of the plaintiff and if it has reasonable cause to believe that an accused person might abscond, require a deposit of not less than $200 nor more than $5 000 to guarantee the appearance of such accused person at the hearing and his compliance with the sentence, where such is the case, within the delay granted by such court.
