8. The Government shall appoint the chair of the board of directors for a term of up to five years.

8. The chairman is appointed for not more than ten years, the other members of the board for not more than three years and the vice-chairmen of the Société for not more than five years.
On the expiry of their terms of office, they remain in office until they are replaced or reappointed.
If the chairman is absent or unable to act, he is replaced by the vice-chairman of the board.

8. The Government shall fix the salary and, where necessary, the additional salary, fees and allowances of each member of the board of directors of the Régie and the indemnities to which they are entitled.
The salaries, fees, allowances, indemnities and other operating expenses of the Régie shall be charged to the Régie.
