2. No legal costs shall be adjudicated against any judge contemplated in section 260 of the Courts of Justice Act (chapter T-16) in proceedings for quashing or reviewing a decision unless there is contestation on his part.

2. No costs shall be adjudicated against any judge contemplated in section 260 of the Courts of Justice Act (chapter T-16) in proceedings for quashing or reviewing a decision unless there is contestation on his part.

2. No costs shall be adjudicated against any justice of the peace in any suit contemplated in section 846 of the Code of Civil Procedure unless, on proof of the bad faith of the justice of the peace, the court otherwise orders.
This section shall not apply to municipal judges or to persons having the powers of two justices of the peace.
