28. Every municipality, including any territory annexed under section 27, shall be divided into separate polling-subdivisions so that no polling-subdivision is comprised in two municipalities.
In the case of an immoveable situated partly in one municipality and partly in another, the director general of elections, if informed of it in due time, must ascertain in which of such municipalities the greater part of such immoveable is situated and order that all the electors domiciled in such immoveable are entitled to vote in such municipality only.
