230. (Replaced).

230. (1)  When by the terms of this act a thing may or must be done or an act performed in the presence of the agents of the candidates, such expression shall be deemed to refer to such agents of the candidates as are authorized to attend and are actually present at the time when and place where such act or thing is done.
(2)  The absence of any agent at such time and place shall not, if the act or thing is otherwise duly done, invalidate it in any respect.
