L-4.1 - Act respecting electoral lists

135. The following shall be guilty of an offence against this Act and liable to a fine of $100 to $500 and, on failure to pay the fine, to an imprisonment of one to six months:
(a)  Any person who acts as an election officer when not qualified to fill such office in accordance with sections 22 and 23;
(b)  Any employer who uses his authority or influence to induce any of his employees either to refuse the office of an election officer or to abandon the same after accepting it, or who in any way infringes the provisions of subsection 2 of section 25;
(c)  Any returning officer who permits his election clerk to perform his duties without having taken the oath.
