1. The Legislature of Québec shall consist of the Lieutenant-Governor and the National Assembly; it shall exercise all the powers vested in the Legislature of the Province of Québec consisting of the Lieutenant-Governor and two Houses called the Legislative Council of Québec and the Legislative Assembly of Québec.
