204. The warden of a house of detention shall draw up the list of the inmates of that establishment who are electors. The list shall indicate the surname and given name, the address of the domicile and the age of each elector.
The warden shall then ask every inmate if he wishes to be registered on the electoral list and verify with him the accuracy of the particulars concerning him.
Notwithstanding the first paragraph of section 59 of the Act respecting Access to documents held by public bodies and the Protection of personal information (chapter A-2.1), the warden shall send the electoral list to the chief electoral officer not later than the sixteenth day preceding polling day.
