46. (1)  The driver of a motorcycle or moped shall drive seated on the seat; the driver of a motorcycle, moped or bicycle shall constantly hold the handlebar with at least one hand; he shall carry no other person unless his vehicle is equipped with seats permanently installed for such purpose and with foot-rests fixed on each side of the vehicle and unless each of such passengers is seated so that his left foot is on the foot-rest situated on the left side and his right foot on the foot-rest situated on the right side.
(2)  No driver of a moped, bicycle or any other vehicle of similar type shall take hold of or cause himself to be drawn by a motor vehicle and no driver thereof shall permit such manoeuvre.
(3)  Several drivers of motorcycles, mopeds or bicycles shall not travel abreast; they shall do so in single file.
(4)  Every person, including every passenger, who drives on a motorcycle or a sidecar must wear a protective helmet which complies with the standards prescribed by regulation of the Government.
