Act respecting cold storage warehouses for fish and bait

1. The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food is authorized to establish and equip cold storage warehouses to preserve fish and bait therein.
He may also for the same purposes acquire existing cold storage warehouses.

2. The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food is authorized to:
(a)  Fix the site of such warehouses;
(b)  Establishing a plan for the laying out of the warehouses which he constructs or acquires;
(c)  Determine the conditions on which such warehouses shall be placed at the disposal of the fishermen.

3. Any immoveable the taking possession whereof is necessary to the establishment of a cold storage warehouse may be acquired by the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food by agreement or by expropriation, and such acquisition shall extend to all real rights, charges, lease for rent or emphyteutic leases, constituted rents or any other rights whatsoever affecting the immoveable.

REPEAL SCHEDULE

In accordance with section 17 of the Act respecting the consolidation of the statutes (chapter R-3), chapter 209 of the Revised Statutes, 1964, in force on 31 December 1977, is repealed effective from the coming into force of chapter E-12 of the Revised Statutes.
