Regulation respecting fishing and hunting areas
Act respecting the conservation and development of wildlife
(chapter C-61.1, s. 84.1).

1. The territory of Québec is divided into fishing and hunting areas, delimited as described in Schedules I to XXIX.
However, the territory delimited as described in Schedule XXV constitutes only a fishing area.
The parts of Areas 8, 10 and 13 that are included in Area 25 are excluded from their respective area in the case of fishing.

Fishing and Hunting Areas
Area 1
That part of Québec whose perimeter is as follows:
Starting from the meeting point of the south shore of the St. Lawrence River and of the extension of the western limit of the right of way of the Sainte-Flavie – Amqui – Matapédia segment of route No. 132; thence, southeasterly, along that extension and that western limit to the right bank of rivière Matapédia; thence, southerly, along that right bank, passing along the right bank of lac au Saumon, and its extension to the Québec – New Brunswick border; thence, easterly along that border to the downstream side of the Campbellton; thence, northwesterly, along that downstream side to the seacoast of the Gaspé Peninsula; thence, in a general easterly, northerly and westerly direction, along this seacoast to the starting point.
Those parts of the watercourses situated between their mouth at the St. Lawrence River, the Gulf of St. Lawrence or Baie des Chaleurs and the limits indicated in the following table are excluded from the territory described above and are incorporated into Area 21:

Thence, southwesterly, that limit to the southwestern limit of lot 50 of rang III of that township;
Thence, northwesterly, the southwestern limit of lot 50 of ranges III and II;
Thence, northeasterly, the northwestern limit of rang II;
Thence, northwesterly, the northeastern limit of the townships of Lafontaine and Ashford to the northwestern limit of that township;
Thence, southwesterly, along the northwestern limit of the canton d’Asford to the northeastern limit of the cadastre of the paroisse de Sainte-Louise;
Thence, along that northeastern limit and the northeastern limit of the cadastre of the paroisse de Saint-Roch-des-Aulnaies to the south shore of the St. Lawrence River;
Thence, southwesterly, along that shore to the wharf of the Lévis–Québec ferry;
Thence, southerly, along a straight line to the meeting point of the southern limit of the right-of-way of route 132 and of the eastern limit of the right-of-way of route 173;

Area 23–That part of Québec whose perimeter is as follows:
Starting from the meeting point of the parallel 55º30′ of north latitude and the meridian 69º30′ of west longitude; thence, southerly, along that meridian to the watershed line between the drainage basins of the St. Lawrence River and the drainage basins of James Bay, Hudson Bay and Ungava Bay; thence, in a general northeasterly direction, along that watershed line to the Québec-Labrador border; thence, northerly, easterly and northerly, along that border to its northernmost limit; thence, southerly and in a general northwesterly direction, along the seashores of Ungava Bay and Hudson Strait to the northwestern tip of Nouveau-Québec; thence, southerly, along the seashore of Hudson Bay to the northern limit of lands of Category II of Poste-de-la-Baleine; thence, easterly and southeasterly, along the northern and northeastern limits of these lands to the parallel 55º30′ of north latitude; thence, easterly, along that parallel to the starting point.
Area 24 is to be withdrawn from this point.

Starting from the meeting point of the southwest shore of lac Manereuille with the left bank of rivière à la Baleine; thence, in a general northwesterly direction, along that left bank, skirting Lac Jeannin by the west to a point whose U.T.M. coordinates are: 6,273,000 m N and 660,250 m E; thence, in an easterly direction, along a straight line to its meeting with the right bank of that river; thence, in a general easterly then southeasterly direction, that right bank to its meeting with the mouth of the effluent of a lake without a name, at a point whose U.T.M. coordinates are: 6,272,625 m N and 661,225 m E; thence, in a general southeasterly direction, along the right bank of that effluent, then along the north shore of a chain of lakes without names and the effluents joining them to the meeting point of the north shore of the easternmost lake of that chain and the north bank of an intermittent stream situated at the east end of that lake, at a point whose U.T.M. coordinates are: 6,269,275 m N and 667,225 m E; thence, southeasterly, along a straight line to its meeting with the northernmost point of the left bank of a stream without a name, point whose U.T.M. coordinates are: 6,268,450 m N and 672,000 m E; thence, in a general southeasterly then northeasterly direction, along the left bank of that stream, then along the north shore of a lake without a name, the left shore of its effluent joining it to another lake without a name, along the north shore of the latter lake and the left shore of its eastern effluent to its meeting with the left bank of rivière Kawachinakaniskastiku, effluent of lac Guérard, at a point whose U.T.M. coordinates are: 6,268,250 m N and 674,975 m E; thence, easterly, along a straight line to its meeting with the right shore of that effluent, at a point whose U.T.M. coordinates are: 6,268,250 m N and 675,125 m E; thence, southeasterly and easterly, following the right shore, along the north shore of lac Guérard, the north shore of the lakes situated between Guérard and Coiffier lakes, the north shore of lac Coiffier to the east end of that lake, at a point whose U.T.M. coordinates are: 6,245,000 m N and 377,400 m E; thence, northeasterly, along a straight line to the meeting point of the east shore of lac de la Hutte Sauvage and the right bank of ruisseau Slippery, at a point whose U.T.M. coordinates are: 6,266,450 m N and 393,600 m E; thence, northeasterly, following that right shore to the northeastern most end of the first lake formed by the widening of ruisseau Slippery, at a point whose U.T.M. coordinates are: 6,275,900 m N and 403,000 m E; thence, southeasterly, along a straight line to a point whose U.T.M. coordinates are: 6,260,000 m N and 409,750 m E; thence, southwesterly, along a straight line to its meeting with the north end of the west shore of lac Dihourse, at a point whose U.T.M. coordinates are as follows: 6,255,150 m N and 407,050 m E; thence, in a general southerly direction, along the right bank of rivière Natikamaukau, the main effluent of lac Dihourse, to its meeting with the southern end of the west shore of the southernmost lake formed by the widening of that river, at a point whose U.T.M. coordinates are: 6,246,740 m N and 406,750 m E; thence, southerly, along a straight line to its meeting with the left bank of that river, at a point whose U.T.M. coordinates are: 6,246,690 m N and 406,750 m E; thence, in a general westerly direction, along the left bank of rivière Natikamaukau, to a point whose U.T.M. coordinates are: 6,245,750 m N and 402,000 m E; thence, southerly, along a straight line to a point whose U.T.M. coordinates are: 6,223,000 m N and 402,000 m E; thence, southwesterly, along a straight line to its meeting with the left bank of rivière De Pas, at a point whose U.T.M. coordinates are: 6,188,500 m N and 372,000 m E; thence, southerly, along a straight line to its meeting with the right bank of that river, at a point whose U.T.M. coordinates are: 6,188,350 m N and 372,000 m E; thence, southerly, along that right bank to a point on that right bank at the same latitude as the meeting point of the west shore of lac Manereuille with the left bank of rivière à la Baleine; thence, westerly, along a straight line to the starting point, skirting lac Manereuille by the south.
