Regulation respecting the fees payable for the deposit of cadastral plans and the examination of plans not deposited
Cadastre Act
(chapter C-1, s. 21.6.1).
The fees prescribed in the Regulation have been indexed as of 1 April 2020 pursuant to the notice published in Part 1 (French) of the Gazette officielle du Québec of 28 March 2020, page 269. (ss. 1, 2, 3, 4)
1. The fees payable for the opening of a file for a horizontal or vertical cadastre shall be $135, except in the following cases where there are none:
(1)  an application for correction;
(2)  an application submitted pursuant to article 3042 of the Civil Code.

2. The fees payable for the study of an application respecting a horizontal cadastre shall be:
(1)  for lots added:
(a)  $23 for the first lot;
(b)  $16 for any additional lot;
(2)  for lots replaced or annulled:
(a)  $23 for the first lot;
(b)  $16 for any additional lot to a maximum of 20;
(c)  $3 for any other additional lot.

3. The fees payable for the study of an application respecting a vertical cadastre shall be:
(1)  for lots added:
(a)  $474 for the first lot;
(b)  $16 for any additional lot;
(2)  for lots replaced or annulled:
(a)  $236 for the first lot;
(b)  $16 for any additional lot to a maximum of 20;
(c)  $3 for any other additional lot.

4. The fees payable for each return to an applicant of a file that does not comply with the instructions for submitting cadastral documents shall be $158.
No fees shall be payable for the first return of a file for a vertical cadastre.

5. The fees prescribed in this Regulation shall be indexed on 1 April of each year on the basis of the cumulative rate of increase in the general Consumer Price Index for Canada, as determined by Statistics Canada, for the preceding period from 1 January to 31 December.
The fees indexed in the prescribed manner shall be reduced to the nearest dollar where they contain a fraction of a dollar less than $0.50; they shall be increased to the nearest dollar where they contain a fraction of a dollar equal to or greater than $0.50.
The result of the indexation calculated under this section shall be published in Part 1 of the Gazette officielle du Québec.
