204. For the purposes of this division relating to the educational services referred to in section 1 and for the purposes of Division II of Chapter I, the persons who reside in the territory of a school service centre or who are committed or placed under custody therein pursuant to the Youth Protection Act (chapter P-34.1), the Act respecting health services and social services (chapter S-4.2), except persons to whom Part IV.1 of that Act applies, or the Youth Criminal Justice Act (S.C. 2002, c. 1) come under the jurisdiction of the school service centre.
To that end, despite the first paragraph, any person residing in the territory of another school service centre to whom the school service centre provides services comes under the jurisdiction of the school service centre.
For the purposes of the provisions of this division relating to vocational training or adult education, any person entitled and wishing to be enrolled in vocational training or adult education, whether or not resident in the territory of the school service centre, comes under the jurisdiction of a school service centre.

204. Despite the coming into force of 2020, c. 1, s. 1, this section continue to apply, as it read before being amended, for the purposes of the 2020-2021 school year. (See 2020, c. 1, s. 333)
