Regulation respecting eligibility for legal aid
Act respecting legal aid and the provision of certain other legal services
(chapter A-14).
The Regulation respecting eligibility for legal aid has been replaced by the Regulation respecting legal aid (chapter A-14, r. 2) except for section 5 which, under section 57 of chapter 23 of the statutes of 1996, continues to apply to persons domiciled or having their principal residence in another province or in a territory of Canada.
Section 5 reads as follows:
5. Non residents are eligible for legal aid in civil matters in the same way as Québec residents where the government of their domicile or principal place of residence grants legal aid to Québec residents.
