Regulation respecting other terms and conditions for permits of the Ordre des denturologistes du Québec to be issued

DIVISION I
GENERAL PROVISIONS
1. In this Regulation, unless the context indicates otherwise,
“Order” means the Ordre des denturologistes du Québec;
“secretary” means the secretary of the Order.

2. The Interpretation Act (chapter I-16) applies to this Regulation.

3. The secretary shall transmit a copy of this Regulation to the candidate who applies to be admitted to the Order. The Order shall also transmit a brochure explaining the content of this Regulation to the candidate.

DIVISION II
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ISSUING PERMITS
4. To obtain a permit, a person shall provide the secretary with the following papers:
(a)  an application for admittance to the Order, duly completed and in accordance with the form in Schedule 1;
(b)  an attestation that he holds a diploma recognized by the Government pursuant to the first paragraph of section 184 of the Professional Code (chapter C-26) or recognized as equivalent by the Order, or training recognized as equivalent by the Order;
(c)  complete official transcripts of his marks at the college or university level;
(d)  proof, where required by law, that his knowledge of the official language complies with the standards established by Government regulation for that purpose; and
(e)  a certified cheque or money order in the amount of $75 as fees for opening the record.

5. A member of the Order who has been struck off the roll for failure to pay the assessments owing by him to the Order or for failure to furnish a security against his professional liability shall, to be re-entered on the roll and in accordance with the prescriptions of the Professional Code (chapter C-26):
(1)  pay the assessments owing and unpaid at the time of his striking off;
(2)  pay the assessments for the current year;
(3)  furnish proof of professional liability insurance for the current year;
(4)  pay the re-entry fees fixed by resolution of the board of directors; and
(5)  pay, where applicable, the disciplinary fines owing and unpaid at the time of his striking off.

6. A member of the Order who has been struck off the roll following the cessation of practice of his profession or a decision of the disciplinary council or the Professions Tribunal shall, to be re-entered on the roll and in accordance with the prescriptions provided for in the Professional Code (chapter C-26):
(1)  pay the assessments for the current year;
(2)  furnish proof of professional liability insurance for the current year;
(3)  pay the re-entry fees fixed by resolution of the board of directors; and
(4)  pay, where applicable, the disciplinary fines owing and unpaid.

* N.B. A denturologist who begins to practise his profession principally at another address must immediately notify the secretary of the Order; he must also notify the secretary of any change in the place where he practises his profession within 30 days of the change.
