172. The returning officer shall establish a polling station for each polling subdivision and group the polling stations of each ward in a public hall, school or other large premises.
Whenever there is not a sufficient number of such premises, the Minister of Municipal Affairs may permit the returning officer to establish the polling stations elsewhere.
Every school board must permit its schools to be used gratuitously for the purposes of this section.
