283. (Repealed).

283. Of the six councillors elected on such occasion, or elected or appointed in accordance with Division VIII of Chapter VI of Part I of the Act respecting elections in certain municipalities (chapter E-2.1):
(1)  three must be replaced at the next general election;
(2)  the remaining three must be replaced at the same time in the following year; and so on, in such a manner that three local councillors must be elected or appointed each year.
