8.03. On 31 October of each year, the employer determines the total accumulated leave hour credits of each employee.

The employer pays to the employee the amount in excess of 2% of the accumulated leave hour credits, not later than 10 December of each year, at the employee’s current hourly rate.

Accumulated leave hour credits that are not paid under the second paragraph are accumulated from year to year.

The employer pays to the employee the amount in excess of 2% of the accumulated sick leave hour credits, not later than 10 December of each year, at the employee’s current hourly rate.

Sick leave hour credits that are not paid under the second paragraph are accumulated from year to year.

8.03. The employer establishes the number of 1/2 days of sick leave to be credited to each employee on 31 October of each year.

An employee having sick leave credits exceeding:

— 8 days on 31 October 2005 and 2006;

— 7 days on 31 October 2007 and 2008;

— 6 days on 31 October 2009 and 2010;

— 5 days on 31 October 2011 and each subsequent year,

is entitled to receive the surplus credits at his current hourly rate, no later than 10 December of each year.

Sick days, not remunerated under the second paragraph, are cumulated from year to year.

The employer notifies each employee, no later than 30 November of each year, of the number of sick days to his credit.
