28. An agrologist must safeguard his professional independence at all times and avoid any situation which would put him in conflict of interest. Without restricting the generality of the foregoing, an agrologist is:(1) in conflict of interest when the interests concerned are such as might lead him to favour certain of them over those of his client or his judgment and loyalty toward the latter to be unfavourably affected;
(2) not independent in respect of a given act if he stands to derive a direct or indirect, real or possible, personal benefit therefrom.
