37. The company may, in any court having jurisdiction to the amount demanded, sue for and recover from any stockholder in the company the amount of any call or calls of stock which such stockholder has neglected to pay, after public notice thereof for two weeks in one of the newspapers published nearest the place where the directors of the company usually meet for the transaction of business.
