52. The director general shall give a mandate to an advocate or notary not in the employ of the centre, when a recipient specially chooses such advocate or notary and he agrees to provide his professional services to the recipient in accordance with the regulations. In such case, the advocate or notary must personally carry out all the essentials of such mandate.

52. The general manager shall give a mandate to an advocate or notary not in the employ of the corporation, when a recipient specially chooses such advocate or notary and he agrees to provide his professional services to the recipient in accordance with the regulations. In such case, the advocate or notary must personally carry out all the essentials of such mandate.
However, the Commission may provide, in certain exceptional situations and taking into account the requirements of good management, that certain professional services for legal aid shall be exclusively rendered by advocates employed full time by a corporation.
