E-2.2 - Act respecting elections and referendums in municipalities

301. A person who is convicted of an offence under paragraph 1 of section 632 or an offence that is a corrupt electoral practice within the meaning of section 645, the Act respecting school elections to elect certain members of the boards of directors of English-language school service centres (chapter E-2.3) or the Election Act (chapter E-3.3) is disqualified from holding office as a member of the council of a municipality.
The disqualification shall continue for five years from the day on which the judgment convicting the person becomes a res judicata.
