62. The clerk’s functions, in particular, are as follows:
(1)  to receive oaths;
(2)  to summon witnesses;
(3)  to authorize special methods of notification;
(4)  to assist the judge at hearings;
(5)  to verify and approve judicial costs, including the bailiff’s accounts;
(6)  to take custody of the records.
